Cobalt Lands Three Prestigious Awards at RSA Conference 2025

With RSA Conference 2025 just wrapped, I’m thrilled to share that Cobalt was recognized with three major honors—a powerful reflection of the success of our Cobalt Offensive Security Platform, along with the exceptional expertise of our pentesters and the critical role they play in helping organizations stay ahead of the latest threats.

At this year’s conference, Cobalt was named a winner in two categories by Cyber Defense Magazine’s Global InfoSec Awards: Outstanding Offensive Security and Outstanding Penetration Testing. We were also named a Visionary in the EMA Vendor Vision 2025 Report, an honor reserved for just twelve standout companies redefining the future of cybersecurity at RSA 2025.

The Global Infosec Awards speak directly to our company’s deep-rooted expertise in offensive security and our commitment to uniting the best of people and technology. By combining advanced technology with a global network of skilled testers, The Cobalt Platform empowers organizations to proactively identify and mitigate critical vulnerabilities before they can be exploited. This recognition underscores our mission to help organizations reduce risk and thrive in a secure future.

Our leadership team—including (left to right) Tracy Holden, Lisa Matherly, Sonali Shah, and I—had the privilege of walking the red carpet at RSA to accept these awards. While our outfits weren't quite Met Gala showstoppers, our universally acclaimed cybersecurity leadership was the real head-turner, making the award itself the ultimate accessory – a proud moment for all of us.

Adding to the excitement, our inclusion in EMA’s Vendor Vision 2025 Report highlights our role as an innovator and thought leader by industry analysts. This report features twelve leading security companies at the 2025 RSA Conference, offering attendees a guide to the event's most innovative vendors and solutions. Selected from a competitive field of over 600 vendors exhibiting at RSA 2025, this recognition affirms our approach to penetration testing and our potential to shape the next generation of technology in this space.

When attack surfaces are expanding faster than most teams can track, relying solely on tools leaves critical gaps. Security leaders must take a proactive approach by validating the effectiveness of their defensive controls with expert-led, human-driven testing. At Cobalt, we deliver offensive security at the speed and scale modern organizations require—powered by highly skilled pentesters who bring deep expertise and real-world context to every engagement. This approach helps teams uncover and prioritize the risks that matter most, strengthening defenses and accelerating remediation.

As the RSA Conference continues to be a global hub for cybersecurity innovation, being named a Visionary reinforces our position at the forefront of the industry—and highlights the growing importance of scalable, high-quality offensive security in building cyber resilience.
These honors directly reflect the entire Cobalt team's hard work, dedication, and expertise. We are deeply honored to be recognized by both the Global Infosec Awards and EMA for our continued achievements and vision.

If you missed us at RSA Conference 2025, it’s not too late to discover what sets Cobalt apart. Get started with our Cobalt Offensive Security platform to see how we’re helping organizations strengthen their security posture.
