If you are purchasing a pentest through the Hak5/Cobalt bundle offer, these terms supplement the Cobalt Terms of Use. All applicable terms of the Cobalt Terms of Use remain effective except, where contradictory, the terms of this Hak5 Pineapple Test Supplement govern in lieu of such other terms.
Services Description
The Hak5/Cobalt bundle includes a limited, four-credit pentest of your Hak5 Pineapple device (a “Hak5 Pentest”). The Hak5 Pentest is non-customizable. Cobalt has sole discretion to determine the appropriate scope of a Hak5 Pentest. While findings derived from a Hak5 Pentest will be delivered via the Cobalt Platform, no report will be provided. Cobalt will notify you when your Hak5 Pentest has concluded.
Device
By purchasing the Hak5 Pentest, you acknowledge that Cobalt does not manufacture, design, or deliver Hak5 devices. Failure to select an appropriate or compatible device, failure of a Hak5 device to operate per specifications, or non-delivery of a Hak5 device you may have purchased, may interfere with your ability to receive a Hak5 Pentest. Cobalt does not make any representation or warranty concerning the quality, fitness, compatibility, or deliverability of the Hak5 device you have purchased.
Timing
Cobalt’s obligation to undertake a Hak5 Pentest is contingent upon your successful installation and configuration of the applicable Hak5 device. After completion of device installation and configuration, your Hak5 Pentest may take up to two (2) weeks to schedule.
Staffing
Cobalt reserves the right to staff your Hak5 Pentest with personnel from (a) the Core Community, or (b) other qualified professionals, including but not limited to Cobalt employees and/or contractors.
Methodology
Hak5 Pentests will follow a standard methodology based on the Penetration and Testing Execution Standard (PTES) and National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Technical Guide to Information Security Testing and Assessment (NIST 800-115).
Pricing and Tier
The price and Cobalt Tier associated with a Hak5 Pentest will be determined by whether the Customer is a new or existing Cobalt Customer, as follows: (a) for new Cobalt Customers, the price associated with each Cobalt Credit is itemized on the Hak5 page where you purchased the Hak5/Cobalt bundle, and the Tier associated with your Hak5 Pentest is “Standard,” and (b) for existing Cobalt Customers, the price associated with each Cobalt Credit is the per-Credit price to which you have previously agreed, and the Tier associated with your Hak5 Pentest is the Tier associated with your existing Cobalt subscription.” Notwithstanding Cobalt Tier offerings, Hak5 Pentests exclude the following features (a) the selection of pentesters based on location, (b) retesting, and (c) customer attestation.
